Temodar, a drug used to treat multiple sclerosis (MS), will be supplied to India for the first time by Amgen (AMGN), according to Biomedicine Today. MS is the primary supplier of cancer therapies in India, accounting for two thirds of all cancer treatments rendered in the nation. MS is the second-largest source. The MS drug is shipped to India by Novartis, Amgen's Indian partner, along with other biopharma shipments from Cipla, Amgen's Indian partner. The two multinational pharmaceutical corporations declared their intent to work together in 2014.
