While working as a photographer in Los Angeles last summer, Nick Hannon uploaded his images on the Internet. In the beginning, Hannon had invested in IMAGE4.com, a company that enabled him to sell digital photos on social networking platforms. In August 2010, the business filed for bankruptcy, and he started working for Orbit Imaging in the Netherlands. Orbit Imaging made the opportunity to take pictures of international shipping containers and export the digital pictures to businesses and customers abroad.


At that time, North American customers received items worth approximately $500 billion from foreign shipping corporations. International shipping firms allowed anybody to take pictures of their containers and offer a print of the shot for a modest cost.
