Private Label Products On Amazon in 2022

The Ultimate Guide To Sell

I was looking for high-end products that are relatively easy to make, have low competition and a great return on investment (ROI).

After months of research and testing, I found a product that met my criteria. I called the manufacturer in China and asked them to send samples of their products. Then I started selling it on Amazon.

In this post, I’ll share my process for finding great private label products. If you follow the steps in this guide, you’ll find a product idea that meets your criteria and has a high chance of success.

Follow these steps below:

Step 1: Find a broad product category that interests you.

Step 2: Find products within that category with high demand (sales) and low supply (competition). To do this, we’ll use two tools: Google Keyword Planner and Jungle Scout.

Step 3: Look at the reviews for those products to identify problems. This is where we’ll find your product idea.

Step 4: Validate your product idea by speaking with real potential customers. Once you’ve found a few great ideas, pick one and start

If you’re constantly on the prowl for product ideas, here are some sources you may find useful.

Niche product review sites

Most product review sites focus on a single niche, and they can be great sources of inspiration. Look at the top products reviewed in a particular niche, and identify any gaps that might exist in the market.

Search the Amazon catalog

You don’t necessarily have to look outside the Amazon catalog for inspiration. Search for a product that has positive reviews and high sales volume, but is not particularly well-known (that way it will be easier to compete against established sellers). See if there are any gaps in that product’s assortment (for example, maybe there are no accessories available). Alternatively, see if there’s anything you can do to make an existing product better (for instance, enhance it with additional features).
